I had a new shingle roof installed by Right Way Roofing and I am very happy with the work they did! They installed the Titan XT shingles with the Natural Timber color. The installation was postponed by one day due to some bad weather, but Kevin and the crew came out on a Saturday and the crew worked hard on Saturday and Sunday to get the job done. Everything looks great, they did a very thorough clean up, and all questions/concerns were addressed and taken care of. I would definitely recommend them!

RWR is the first contractor I've ever used that I was completely satisfied with in all my 70 years. Johnny and his crew replaced my 25 year old shingled roof in 2.5 days working 12 hour days. Some of the issues you usually worry about are being able to communicate with the workers and, are they going to up the price after they get started. I even had a few sheets of plywood and facia boards replaced that i fully expected to pay extra for, but Johnny said he was not going to charge me. All the workers were very friendly and communicated any questions I had. Johnny, the supervisor and owner of the company was very passionate about his work and profession. If I had any questions or concerns, he would stop and explain why he was doing what he was doing.I read a google review that RWR didn't like to come to Tucson to do work. They may not want to drive down from Mesa to do a $300 repair but I live 30 minutes south of Tucson and they didn't seem to mind working here. Actually, I got 3 other estimates. They were not the cheapest (by $500) but they were not the most expensive either.I would highly recommend this company to do your roofing replacement.
It was a pleasure meeting Lori with Right Way Roofing Saturday at the Las Sendas Vendor Fair. I think the quality of material they use is impressive, especially considering that upgrade is not being passed onto the customer. I look forward to getting a bid to replace the underlayment in our house, any client roof needs moving forward, and they will hopefully be bidding to do my parents townhome development.

Right Way Roofing does things the right way! I cant say enough how much of a pleasure they were to have do my roof. Zach Munton was my sales rep and he was a real genuine person, no sales gimmicks. He gave me all the data and patiently let me make my decision. The gals in the office were a delight to deal with as well. Everything that we agreed to was done and done well. Jerry was my site foreman and was very communicative. He listened to all my wants and took care of them within the scope of his work, even a couple aesthetic wants he took care of with a smile. Scheduling happened just as it was discussed and the roofers showed up on time worked hard and respected my property keeping an eye out for my dogs. Its rare to find a company that executes well all the way through the process but they did it with grace, with a great product , great warranty , great craftsmanship and competitive pricing. I would highly recommend Right Way Roofing to anyone with roofing needs. What a class act!

After I discovered a roof leak that has probably been leaking since the house was built in 2018 (due to poor workmanship by the original roofing company), I called Right Way Roofing. Troy came to our house, found the problem, and gave us an estimate for the repair. He provide photos of the problem area along with the estimate. After I decided to have Right Way do the repairs, they called and gave me a schedule for the job. I was very impressed because they went right by the schedule. The materials arrived on a Friday as they said. A bit later that day, a trailer arrived for the debris. That same day, Javier, their superintendent arrived to check what was needed. The crew arrived the following Monday on schedule and began the job. Javier had a few other jobs to check so he wasn’t present all day but when he was present, he sent me photos as the job progressed. The photos showed the extent of the damage which required them to replace three sheets of radiant barrier roof decking. The job took two full days. The day after the job was completed, the trailer with the debris was removed and they cleaned our driveway. While they were making the repairs, Javier sent me photos of the repairs. After the job was complete, they sent me the invoice which was for the exact amount of the estimate plus a change order for the three sheets of radiant barrier plywood which was not included in the original invoice because Troy did not have the cost of the sheets. I was completely aware that there would be an additional cost for the radiant barrier plywood. There were absolutely no surprises when I received the final invoice. I am very pleased with the job done by Right Way Roofing. As I said, they performed the work according to the schedule they gave me. I am confident they did a very good job and we should have no further problem with the sections of roof they repaired. My compliments to Javier for how he stayed in contact with me by sending photos of each step along the way. He went out of his way to make sure I was aware of how the job was progressing. I highly recommend Right Way Roofing.

We were very pleased with everything from start to finish. The quote given was professionally done & they took the time to check things first, not just give a quote based on age & size of roof. When the project began Javier provided constant communication & photos of what was being done- really appreciated that! We only did the underlayment & had some new roof tiles that don't match our "not-available" color anymore, but the new was all put towards the back & can only be seen at a very particular angle - very pleased. They worked with us on how we could split the payment on our cc's. They did what they said they were going to do & we HIGHLY recommend them.

Right Way Roofing did an excellent job replacing the underlayment on a portion of my roof. From my initial contact with the sales person Kevin, to Candra and the rest of the office staff, to Jeff and the crew that came and did the work everything was done with the utmost professionalism. I would not hesitate to use Right Way Roofing again or to recommend them to a friend. They use high quality roofing materials and the warranty they offer is awesome and transferable should I choose to sell my house. If you are looking for a roof repair or replacement there is only one way, the Right Way!

Right Way Roofing spent time with me explaining the process and quote. I wanted a color change on the roof to one more energy efficient which was different than what I originally said, but they gave me no trouble changing the color. I have both an asphalt shingle and a flat roof (over the garage). They took care of both and had longer warranties than their competitors. I also like that they have been in business over 20 years and have a good BBB rating. The workers communicated well what the schedule was and cleaned up daily. The nice man (Vicente?) who did the final coat on the flat foam roof did an excellent job making it look nice. I would recommend the company and use them again.

What Is Polyurethane Spray Foam?

When people hear of a foam roof, they might think of the type of foam you find in a mattress or stress ball. However, spray foam roofing in Phoenix is made of a drastically different material: polyurethane.

Polyurethane foam has two components: isocyanate and polyol. When both chemicals are sprayed on your roof, a chemical reaction turns them into hardened foam. Once they cure, the final product is a durable, adhered roofing system.

Spray Foam Roofing Basics

When installing a foam roof, the two chemicals are stored separately. A specialized spray rigging system pressurizes both chemicals and sends them through the nozzle at around 115°F, as the pressure and heat allow the chemicals to adhere and cure properly.

Once the chemicals adhere to the roof, a chemical reaction creates the solid, watertight polyurethane foam roofing layer. The polyol determines the density of the finished product. Roofing systems need a high-density foam to withstand wind, rain, and other weather conditions. In addition, the foam requires a coating.

Most companies use an elastomeric coating, however, at Right Way Roofing, we use a 100% acrylic elastomeric coating. This doubles the lifespan than that of an elastomeric coating by adding solids and tensile strength for extra durability and protection from UV rays. Right Way Roofing also embeds granules in between the two passes of coating for even more durability.

Spray Foam Roofing Installation Process

The spray foam roofing installation process can be the difference between a durable roof and problems later down the road. You deserve peace of mind that your roof is done correctly the first time; that way, you don’t need to worry about potential issues at a later date.

Our team is committed to offering superior foam roofing installation services in Phoenix, Arizona and will work with you to implement a durable solution that is designed to last.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

1. Surface Preparation

Before anything else, our team will examine the decking after tearing off the existing roof and assess for damage. We’ll repair any damaged portions before installing the foam.

This will create a clean surface that allows the foam to adhere better to the roof deck, resulting in a more durable finished product.

2. Polyurethane Spray Foam

Once the roof deck is ready to go, our team will spray the polyurethane foam. We typically spray the foam in a 1-inch layer, though we may go thicker in some cases for better insulation.

Our professional-grade sprayer equipment is a critical component in this process, ensuring the precise mixing and application of the chemical components for optimal adhesion and performance.

3. Roof Coating

After the polyurethane foam has had time to cure and fully harden, we’ll add the acrylic-elastomeric roof coating. This coating is made of acrylics, depending on the size and shape of your roof.

Our team is committed to offering convenient foam roofing installation services in Phoenix and will do multiple passes with this material to create a thick, protective coating.

4. Limestone Granules

While the coating is still wet, our team will add limestone granules over the first coat, then embed the granules in with the second coat. This adds an extra layer of durability and protection, and certain roofing warranties require this layer of granules.

Spray Foam Roofing Maintenance

Routine maintenance is vital for any roofing system. It keeps the materials durable and prevents leaks or other issues. This is especially true for spray foam roofing, as it can be susceptible to punctures or scratches from hail, flying debris, or other weather conditions.

Part of foam roofing maintenance includes regularly reapplying the coating. Regular elastomeric coating has to be recoated every 4-5 years, whereas our acrylic-elastomeric only has to be recoated after 8-10 years. This coating provides extra protection against UV rays and ensures your roof will last longer.

Spray Foam Roofing Repair

While minor roofing damage may not cause noticeable issues at first, it can quickly develop into a bigger issue if left untreated. Routine spray foam roof repairs in Phoenix make sure your property is ready for anything, even monsoon season.

Our team of experienced roofing experts knows the ins and outs of foam roofing, and our repair services will keep your home or business safe.

Spray Foam Roofing Recoating

With the proper care, a polyurethane foam roofing system can last for more than 50 years. Part of this care includes reapplying the coating according to the manufacturer, as this layer can start to wear down over time. A regular elastomeric coating has to be recoated every 4-5 years, whereas our acrylic-elastomeric only has to be recoated after 8-10 years.

Recoating your roof cleans off any dirt or grime while providing additional UV protection. Our recoating services at Right Way Roofing keep your foam roof sturdy.

Benefits of Foam Roofing

Weather Resistant

Foam roofing protects your home from rain and wind, and it can even stand up against monsoon season and summer heat.

Lightweight

Foam roofing is lighter than modified bitumen roofing and single-ply roofing. While modified bitumen roofs can weigh up to 150 lbs per square inch, foam roofing weighs around 50 lbs per square inch. This puts less stress on the overall structure of your roof.

Insulates Your Home

Spray foam roofing insulates your roof and the rest of your home. When compared to other roofing options, foam roofs create energy savings of up to 30%. This saves you money in the long run on your energy bills, and your roof will pay for itself within 5 years.

Seamless Installation

The polyurethane foam is sprayed in one layer across your roof, creating a protective barrier across the entire roof. With no seams or joints, there is less of a chance for water seeping in and causing a leak.

Low Maintenance

Foam roofs require little maintenance to keep them durable and weather-tight. With a proper installation from Right Way Roofing, your new foam roof can last a lifetime.

Flexibility

The polyurethane foam can be sprayed on any style or shape of roofing, making the installation process that much easier.

Foam Roofing FAQs

How long does a foam roof last?

A foam roof can last anywhere from 15 to 55 years. With the right installation, maintenance habits, and recoating appointments, a foam roof can last for decades.

How is a foam roof installed?

A foam roof is made of a spray polyurethane foam (SPF) that’s heated and sprayed on your roof with a special pump. Once the foam fully expands and hardens, a protective coating is applied to protect the foam and help it last longer.

How much does a foam roof cost?

Installing a foam roof will cost you anywhere from $7,000 to $20,000. The exact cost will vary depending on the size and shape of your roof. If you’d like an estimate of what your roof would cost, our contractors at Right Way Roofing are happy to give you a free quote.

How often does a foam roof need to be recoated?

Depending on the climate and other wear and tear to your foam roof, it should be recoated every 8-10 years. Right Way Roofing, Inc. uses 100% acrylic elastomeric, which is a 10 year coating as opposed to elastomeric, which is only a 5-year coating. Right Way Roofing, Inc. also installs limestone granules in between the two coats of coating to increase tensile strength even more. This protects your roof from rain, wind, and other wear and tear.

How do you maintain a foam roof?

The more you maintain your roof day-to-day, the longer it will last. Along with recoating it every 8 to 10 years, regular cleanings keep your roof lasting a lifetime. Clear off any debris to prevent standing water or dirt buildups, specifically scuppers/drains.

Is the foam waterproof?

Because the foam is sprayed onto your roof without any seams, a foam roof is completely waterproof and durable against various weather conditions. The protective coating adds an extra layer of protection as well.
